COVID-19 and gender equality: A case of the Republic of Croatia

Ana Maskalan and Anja Gvozdanović are the authors of the report “COVID-19 and gender equality: A case of the Republic of Croatia“. The report was published by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Regional Office for Croatia and Slovenia in Zagreb.

The report presents the results of the analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 disease pandemic on certain aspects of life in the Republic of Croatia and the national response to it. The emphasis was placed on gender equality and the difficulties of its realization in the pandemic period. The following topics were covered: labour market, poverty, education, health, and violence against women.
