Project description
The aim of the project “Needs, problems and potentials of youth in Croatia” was to examine and analyse the basic features of the social position and the needs, problems and potentials of youth in contemporary Croatia. The emphasis was on examining the attitudes and patterns of behaviour within the family relations and resources, education and professional training, employment and entrepreneurship, social protection and inclusion, political participation and volunteering, mobility and youth culture. The research project is empirical and the field research, which was carried out in 2013, included a sample of 2000 young people from all parts of Croatia. The project also includes a comparative analysis of the data which have been collected within the similar youth research projects that were carried out during the period of transition.
