Development of a study on the social dimension of higher education in Croatia

The aim of the project is to explore the social dimension of higher education in the Republic of Croatia by collecting data on underrepresented and vulnerable groups in higher education in Croatia, and develop a study based on these data.

The research questions that are set within the study are:

• What are the recent insights on underrepresented and vulnerable groups of students in Croatia?
• How do national policies and strategic documents developed by universities, polytechnics and colleges address the social dimension of higher education?
• What is the study experience of students belonging to underrepresented and vulnerable groups?
• What are the reasons that cause hindrance in studying or potential exclusion of students belonging to underrepresented and vulnerable groups from the higher education system?
• What are the needs of students belonging to underrepresented and vulnerable groups regarding their studies?
