The team of the CSF project IDEU organized and participated in a panel on Europeanism and Populism at 11th Biennial Conference of the ECPR

Nikola Petrović, PhD, Principal Investigator of the CSF project “IDEU“ organized and moderated the panel titled “New wave of Europeanism as a Counterreaction to the Rise of Populism“ held within the programme of the 11th Biennial Conference of The Standing Group on the European Union, which was organized at Luiss University in Rome, from 8 till 10 June 2022.

The participants of the panel, among others, were Josip Bilić and Filip Fila, who are both members of the IDEU team. Josip Bilić held the lecture titled “Macron's European project - two faces of Europeanism“, while Filip Fila presented the case of the Czech Pirate Party in the lecture titled “New Challengers of Euroscepticism and Populism – The Case of the Czech Pirate Party“. Nikola Petrović held the presentation titled “DiEM25 and VOLT: New Pro-Europeans and the old dilemma of European federalism“.
