The HESC project research team held a working meeting and site visit in Rijeka

On 18th May 2022 the team members of the research project Quality of living in the Housing Estates of the socialist and post-socialist era: a comparative analysis between Slovenia and Croatia (2020-2023), Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD, Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD and Ratko Đokić, PhD from the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb, with external associates Sonja Podgorelec, PhD from the Institute for Migration and Ethnic Studies and Prof. Tihomir Jukić, PhD from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb, stayed in Rijeka for the purpose of attending a working meeting and implementing a site visit to selected housing estates, as a part of the project's research activities. The working meeting was held in the Association of Architects Rijeka (DAR), during which the characteristics of old and new housing estates were discussed, and the advantages and disadvanteages regarding the quality of life in them.
