School and Community – Final presentation of pupils of Primorje-Gorski Kotar county

Pupils of secondary schools of Primorje-Gorski Kotar county who participate in the non-compulsory subject “School and Community“ presented their work during this school year on Monday 19 June at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb. Pupils presented the phenomena they were tackling to representatives of county authorities, Mayor of Rijeka, county representatives, and  authorities of towns and municipalities. The focus was on advocating for potential solutions to various social problems. A total of 13 groups led by 13 teachers participated in the presentation. Out of Institute's staff, the researchers that participate in the “School and Community“ project are Boris Jokić, Zrinka Ristić Dedić, Nikola Baketa and Jana Šimon.
