Project collaboration of the Institute and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing

The Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing started the implementation of the project that is exploring students’ working, for it has been observed that there is a growing number of students that are employed. The research aims to shed light on the reasons and motives of increased workload of students, and the consequences that such work can have on individual and institutional level, from the perspectives of students, teachers and employers. The research will attempt to gain an in-depth understanding of a decision to work along studying, as well as the needs related to studying, and academic and professional socialization. The principal investigator is Iva Odak, PhD from the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
