Participation of the ISRZ at the 16th Conference of the European Sociological Association

Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD, Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD, Mirjana Adamović, PhD, Dunja Potočnik, PhD and Sandra Antulić Majcen, PhD participated at the 16th Conference of the European Sociological Association, Tension, Trust and Transformation, held in Porto, Portugal, from 27 to 30 August 2024. The co-authors of the presented papers were also Sara Ursić, PhD (Institute of Social Sciences “Ivo Pilar“), Ksenija Klasnić, PhD (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), Anita Dremel, PhD (University of Osijek, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), Anja Gvozdanović, PhD and Iva Odak, PhD, along with Sandra Antulić Majcen, PhD, Senior Research Assistant of the YO-VID22 project.
On 28 August 2024, Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD and Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD presented the results of the qualitative part of the research within the Croatian Science Foundation bilateral Slovenian-Croatian project: Quality of living in the Housing Estates of the socialist and post-socialist era: a comparative analysis between Slovenia and Croatia (HESC). Their presentation was titled Urban transformations and socio-spatial inequalities in large housing estates in Croatia. Along with the two researchers, Sara Ursić, PhD (Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar) participated in writing the abstract.
Mirjana Adamović, PhD presented the paper What Did You Say, Where Are We Going on Sunday? – Societal Dimensions of the Mental Work of Employed Mothers, written in co-authorship with Ksenija Klasnić, PhD (University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) and Anita Dremel, PhD (University of Osijek, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) as part of the project Effects of Mental Work in the Household on the Quality of Life of Employed Mothers.
On 29 August 2024, Dunja Potočnik, PhD presented the results of the quantitative part of the research within the Croatian Science Foundation project YO-VID22: Youth wellbeing and support structures before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, in the presentation titled Youth Life Satisfaction and Political Efficacy: A Comparison of Croatian and Slovenian Youth across Socioeconomic Strata. The presentation was co-written by Anja Gvozdanović, PhD and Iva Odak, PhD, and the conference was also attended by Sandra Antulić Majcen, PhD, Senior Research Assistant of the YO-VID22 project.
