Participation of ISRZ at the ECER conference

At the international European Conference on Educational Research (ECER) conference, held between 27 and 30 August 2024 in Nicosia, Cyprus, many ISRZ researchers presented their research.

Josip Šabić, PhD presented a paper titled Positive School Experience as a Protective Factor That Enhances Overall Life Satisfaction of LGBT Upper Secondary Students, which was written in co-authorship with Saša Puzić, PhD and Ivana Pikić Jugović, PhD.

The conference also hosted a symposium dedicated to the project Critical ChangeLab - Democracy meets arts: Critical change labs for building democratic cultures through creative and narrative practices. Boris Jokić, PhD held a presentation titled CRITICAL CHANGELAB–Democracy Health of European Educational Institutions, Perspective of Youth on Democracy and New Model of Democratic Pedagogy. Zrinka Ristić Dedić, PhD presented a paper titled Democracy Health Index: Assessing education institutions' democracy health across ten EU countries. The paper was written in co-authorship with Boris Jokić, PhD, Jelena Matić Bojić, PhD and Nikola Baketa, PhD.

Iva Odak, PhD and Branislava Baranović, PhD held a presentation titled Gender Differences in STEM Field in Higher Education: The Relationship Between Gender, Motivation and Exhaustion, written in co-authorship with doctoral candidate Dora Petrović, MA.

Branislava Baranović, PhD also presented a paper titled LGBTQ+ Students – How to Choose a University and Navigate Through University Life?

The presented data were collected within the following projects:
