Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD was a guest lecturer at the University of Bergamo (L’Università degli studi di Bergamo), where she spent a part of the winter semester (23 October – 10 November). She gave lectures within the Master's degree program course in tourism: Planning and Management of Tourism Systems.

The lectures were held online within the Module Natural Heritage and Tourism Sustainability. The focus of the lectures was on various types of tourism development and on the consequences that they have on sustainability and resilience of the space, as well as on natural and cultural heritage. Particular emphasis was put on the situation in Croatia and the development of tourism both on the coast and on the islands, by presenting selected case studies.
