Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD participated in a three-day seminar of the CSF project SECRURAL (Socio-ecological challenges to rural development: objective and subjective indicators of resilience of Croatian rural social-ecological systems). The seminar was titled “Social ecology in theory and practice”. It was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities in Zagreb and on the Plitvice Lakes from 8 till 10 November 2023 in collaboration with the Institute for Social-Ecological Research from Frankfurt.

Along with the colleagues Sara Ursić and Jana Vukić, with whom she participated in the project, she held a lecture in which she presented a part of the research titled “Sustainability and resilience on islands – female perspective of life on Brač” (Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD, Sara Ursić, PhD and Jana Vukić, PhD).
