ISRZ researchers participated at the Igman Educational Forum

ISRZ researchers participated at the Igman Educational Forum, which was held from 15 till 17 November 2024 on Igman.
Zrinka Ristić Dedić, PhD held the presentation “Learning and teaching of controversial topics in the school context“, within which she presented the recently started international project Co-Constructing Curriculum in Conflict (4Cs). The project is implemented collaboratively with Middlesex University (UK) and University of Toronto (OISE). In Croatia, it is funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
Boris Jokić, PhD participated in the round table discussion on educational reforms, addressing the experiences and lessons learned in the implementation of the Comprehensive Curricular Reform.
Branko Ančić, PhD participated in the panel on educational policy and the panel on the role of education in achieving climate and social justice.
At the Igman Educational Forum the work of secondary school teachers and pupils within the “School and Community“ project was also presented. Danijela Švigir, Tatjana Hunjak, Tanja Vrbanac, Vlatka Tomić, Leonila Marač, Sonja Jordanić Golub, Rajka Rajčić Majnarić and Katarina Marković presented examples of the implementation of this non-compulsory school subject in their schools.
