Institute's CCLab team held a symposium at the CIES 2025 conference in Chicago

Institute's CCLab team, made of Boris Jokić, PhD, Jelena Matić Bojić, PhD, Zrinka Ristić Dedić, PhD, Iva Odak, PhD and Nikola Baketa, PhD held a symposium at the CIES 2025 conference, which was organized by the Comparative and International Education Society, and held in Chicago from 22 till 26 March 2025.

At the symposium titled “Democracy Health of Educational Institutions and Perspectives of Youth on Democracy and Education in Digital Societies – Insights from 10 EU Countries“ three papers were presented, in which the current results of the Horizon Europe project Critical ChangeLab were discussed. The first paper was dedicated to the analysis and discussion of methodological dilemmas, decisions and constraints of research into educational institutions and youth in the European context. The second paper addressed the results of a comparative research into democracy health of European schools and educational institutions that provide non-formal educational programmes, while the third paper presented the findings of a qualitative research into the perspectives of youth growing up in challenging environments in 10 European countries regarding democracy and participation.
