Guidelines for the Action Plan for Energy and Climate Sustainable Development (SECAP)

The team of the project “METER to a better climate” developed the Guidelines for the Action Plan for Energy and Climate Sustainable Development (SECAP).

The Action Plan for the Energy and Climate Sustainable Development (SECAP) is a strategic document that serves to local communities as a roadmap for the reduction of greenhouse gases emission, increase of energy efficiency and transition to renewable energy sources.

The aim of the developed Guidelines is to provide local self-government authorities with the general understanding of the SECAP, its role in climate policies, as well as the models of financing. The Guidelines also aim to raise the awareness of local self-government bodies on the importance of their engagement in the shaping of climate policies.
