Final educational workshops for the implementation of the subject “School and Community“ were held in secondary schools

Final educational workshops for the implementation of the subject “School and Community“ in the City of Zagreb, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and Krapina-Zagorje County were held on 31 August in Rijeka and on 1 September 2022 in Zagreb. The Institute's team also participated in delivering the education: Boris Jokić, Zrinka Ristić Dedić, Nikola Baketa, Marko Kovačić, Jana Šimon and Arian Peharda.

A total of 139 teachers from 69 secondary schools completed the education. In the school year 2022/23 the teachers will implement the “School and Community“ curriculum in 14 schools in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, 36 schools in the City of Zagreb and in a large number of schools in Krapina-Zagorje County. The participation of more than 1,000 pupils is envisioned. During the pilot year, the teachers will be continuously monitored by mentoring teams, consisting also of the Institute's staff.
