Published: 29.09.2022.
Teo Matković, Ph.D. and Josip Šabić, Ph.D. are the authors of a comprehensive analysis of secondary school needs in Croatia, which was published in the document titled “Comprehensive analysis of secondary education needs with the purpose of increasing attendance in grammar school programmes and reducing the number of surplus programmes in vocational education and training“.
The analysis was implemented within the call of the Ministry of Science and Education, as one of the early activities of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026 (NPOO). The purpose of the analysis was to provide evidence-based foundation for future structural reform of secondary education.
The Study is based on data on the capacities of and enrolment in all programmes in all secondary schools in the period 2013-2021, on recommendations of the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ) at the level of vocation and counties in the same period, on other administrative and statistical sources (demographic and educational), and on data of previously conducted research.
