Boris Jokić, PhD held an invited lecture on youth in digital settings at the Carnet Users Conference

Boris Jokić, PhD was a key note speaker at the international Carnet Users Conference held in Šibenik, at which he held a lecture titled Caught between Tik-Tok and school playground – Perspectives of children and youth on the use of digital technologies.

On this occasion, Boris Jokić presented results of the Institute's research conducted on nearly 17,500 pupils, in which the experiences of children and youth in digital settings and their attitudes on the influence of digital technologies on life and society were examined. Besides Boris jokić, the research was carried out by Zrinka Ristić Dedić, PhD and Jana Šimon, within the Croatian Science Foundation project EWAchange - Changes in the Organization of the Educational Process caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic: Effects on Educational Experiences, Well-being and Aspirations of Pupils in Croatia.
