Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD participated in the presentation of the Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb in the City Assembly

Two years after the Zagreb earthquake, on 22 March 2022 the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević organized the public presentation of the Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb. Among 12 principal investigators of the studies conducted within the Programme, Anđelina Svirčić Gotovac, PhD participated on behalf of the Institute for Social Research as the principal investigator of the Sociological study. Besides her, the members of the Institute's sociological team were: Mirjana Adamović, PhD, Nikola Petrović, PhD, Jelena Zlatar Gamberožić, PhD and Filip Fila, MA.

Numerous experts coming from various sectors and institutions contributed to the study "Programme of comprehensive renewal of the historical centre of Zagreb", and the process of producing this extensive document was coordinated by the Institute for Physical Planning of the City of Zagreb.

The public presentation was held in the Old City Hall, Ćirilometodska 5, in the City Assembly. The brief presentation of all 12 sectorial studies and some of the most important results was followed by the opening of the process of public consultation, after which the Mayor invited all experts and citizens to participate in the development of this document: https://www.zagreb.hr/en/predstavljen-prijedlog-programa-cjelovite-obnove-p/178166.
