PERFORMANCE PLAN
The Lifelong Learning Program Youth in Contemporary Society is conceptualised as a three-dimensional program covering the three most important areas of youth - (I) youth research, (II) youth work and (III) youth participation in community development (civic education). Each of the three modules consists of several compulsory elective courses, as well as a compulsory research and methodological practicum aimed at applying the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice through the implementation of small-scale research and design and implementation of certain activities (social interventions) in accordance with research results. The entire program has 30 ECTS credits. The estimated duration of the program is 15 weeks, with weekend lectures characteristic for part-time and doctoral studies (Friday afternoon, Saturday all day), considering that people who cannot attend classes during the working week are expected to be involved. A hybrid teaching with combined direct teaching, practical work in the community using the distance learning system (LearnPress) is envisaged. Although in this academic year the implementation is planned onsite, for the needs of which the Moise Palace is also reserved, the performance will have to adapt to the current epidemiological situation. Due to the uncertainty, the platform for distance learning - LearnPress - was developed exclusively for the needs of this lifelong learning program.
More details on obligations of students are defined by the implementation plan of individual courses, but the specificity of the program is that in addition to classical teaching, it includes continuous mentoring support to all students as an integral part of professional development of a person working with young people.
