Only oral presentations will be possible at the conference.
In the presentation, the results of empirical research should be presented. The abstract should contain between 300 and 400 words (without the title, the institution, and the authors). The abstract should outline a clearly defined research problem and/or research objective, research methodology, main results, and expected outcomes. At the end of the abstract, three to five keywords should be provided.
The abstract consists of text only, without data, tables and literature.
Abstracts are to be submitted via the conference system Oxford Abstracts (the link to Oxford Abstracts is located on the right side of the screen).
Symposium submission
Symposium should consist of 3-4 papers dealing with a common theme. The leader of symposium should announce the symposium to Programme Committee and send the title and summary of the symposium, list of authors and titles of presentations that make the symposium, by e-mail to the following address: doz2024@idi.hr.
One author can submit a maximum of three abstracts for the conference and can be the first (presenting) author on one abstract only.
The deadline for abstract submissions for the 6th Days of Educational Sciences is June 14th 2024.
The Programme Committee shall review the submitted papers and decide upon their acceptance for the conference presentation. Notification to the authors about the acceptance of the paper shall be sent no later than July 10th 2024.
Abstracts of the accepted papers will be published in the book of abstracts that will be published after the conference. The book of abstracts will include only those works that were presented at the conference.
The duration of oral presentations is limited to 15 minutes and after each presentation, there will be a 5-minute discussion. At the end of each session, there will be a final group discussion.

At the 6th Days of Educational Sciences 2024 conference, the possibility of active participation of undergraduate and graduate students within the student section has been introduced. Students can give oral presentations of student papers containing results of empirical research.
Student papers created independently or in collaboration with other students (including Ph.D. students) are eligible for submission.

It will be moderated by one of the assistants from the Institute (from the Center for Research and Development in Education), while another discussant will be present.

Registration of participants

Fees
Conference fee covers participation in the conference activities, conference materials, refreshments in the breaks and a welcome banquet.
Participants are requested to pay a 65 EUR fee. Please send the proof of payment by e-mail to the following address: doz2024@idi.hr.
Postgraduate students, persons on professional training and retired persons are requested to pay a 15 EUR fee.
Undergraduate and graduate students that wish to attend conference sessions only are exempt from paying the registration fee, but need to register no later than September 10th 2024. If they want to receive conference materials and attend the reception, the registration fee is 15 euros.
The proof of student status (proof of current enrolment in a certain year of undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate study provided by university administration) should be sent by e-mail to the following address: doz2024@idi.hr.
